The Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association, which is a non-profit organization, was organized in September of 1986 and is an affiliate of the Iowa Beef Breeds Council and currently has approximately 900 members. The Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association is governed by the Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Council. To be a member of the Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association, an individual cannot have reached their 21st birthday prior to January 1st of the current show year. Through this organization, juniors are given the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, and grow. This is achieved through the many activities they are involved in through the association.
